DEADLOCK

dl_bebop_hookwars is a recreation of the popular Pudge Hookwars mod from Dota. 

LAUNCH RULES:

• After launching the game simply type "map dl_bebop_hookwars". After you load the map wait till you hear the Patrons' phase change sound and then re-run the above command to relaunch the map and then Choose Hero and pick Bebop. Running the map launch twice bypasses the annoying bug where the game refuses to spawn you in a custom map.

• It is essential that before you try to play a real game of Deadlock that close the game, rename the mod in the addon folder so that it no longer overrides your other game settings, and then relaunch the game.

• Type "changeteam 0" to pick which team you want to join. Changing team via the hero testing menu will not set your respawn point correctly.

Bebop Hookwars features custom abilities and custom items.

Bebop : Abilities have been reworked to the following

Abilities :

• Entangling Bola works like it does on Silver except it does no damage and only slows.

• Ethereal Shift works like the item does.

• Grapple Arm works like the ability does and will instantly kill a target after getting hooked.

• Mechanical Optimizations is a filler ability that you can throw AP into after maxing the rest.

Items:

• Golden Goose Egg is now a one time use Refresher, refreshing all your cooldowns and refilling your stamina upon use but consuming the item. Can be rebought at the shop.

The mode also features a custom Park themed map. Unfortunately the foliage props' leaves do not load properly so just imagine how lush and pretty it would look if they did. Be sure to leave feedback on the map below.

Mode is 50 kills to win. 1 death from anything = 1 kill to the enemy team. You can see how many deaths or kills you have from the normal scoreboard.

To play with Friends:• Ensure everyone has installed the mod. (This can be easily noted by the fact that the item shop has been gutted of most items and Bebop is the only hero.

• Open console and type "map dl_bebop_hookwars"

• Wait 5 seconds, then re-run the above command.

• Open the Deadlock Menu and Select Hero. If needed, type "changeteam 0" in console to choose a different team.

• Type "status"

• After SteamID, look for "[A:1:xxxxxxxxx:xxxxx]" and copy it.

• Have your friends put into console "connect

[A:1:xxxxxxxxx:xxxxx]" to connect to your locally hosted game
