jank of a game and I need everyone's help, there is more information in
#general-updates explaining what I need. I have big plans for
Optimisationlock HOWEVER I need a lot of help from the community to
expedite this process as it is very demanding for just one person.
Issues revolving around config files seem to vary case by case, so to help users optimise their game and fix issues related to my config I have created a Discord Server that everyone is welcome to join! ATM its very WIP, but happy for feedback!
I have expanded on the definitions of the cvars to bring more clarity to what the cvar does, however please keep in mind that there are some cvars you will need to edit, specifically the fps_max command since this is monitor specific, however it wouldn't hurt to read through the commands to get an understanding of what is being effect!
HOW TO INSTALL/USE THE SCRIPT!
• Extract the .zip file
• Open Deadlock's local game files and navigate through to "\Deadlock\game\citadel"
• Copy and paste the ``gameinfo.gi`` file from optimisationlock into \citadel and confirm replacing the original one
Additionally, copy this code and put it in Deadlock's launch options

To do this right click Deadlock in your library>properties and paste it in the text box under General

A config with a fine tuned balanced between optimal performance and visual clarity, ideally this is what most people should be using.

A config thats dedicated to reducing as much strain on your hardware to generate as many frames, however with a cost towards visual sharpness and clarity.
