Dynamo in Deadlock is a classic support hero who holds the team together. He isn't built to chase endless kills; instead he creates the conditions for victory: healing allies, saving them with a teleport, and deciding a teamfight with a single ultimate at the right moment. If you enjoy being the anchor a team plays around, Dynamo is an excellent pick.

Dynamo's main job is to be present near his allies and control space. In lane he farms souls comfortably thanks to his long-range weapon, and in the mid and late game he becomes the backbone of every brawl: well-timed control and healing often matter more than personal damage. That's why you should play Dynamo reactively — watch your team's health and keep an eye on which enemy is drawing too much attention.

Key Abilities

Kinetic Pulse is a slow energy projectile that launches enemies into the air on detonation. It's your primary fight-opener: a lifted target can't act, and the whole team gets a window to focus it down. Try not to waste Pulse — it's better to hold it for a key enemy target.

Rejuvenating Aurora is a directed area heal that restores health for you and nearby allies. The ability is channeled, so you're vulnerable and slowed while it ticks. Activate it from cover or after you've traded your control, so you don't get interrupted at the most important moment.

Quantum Entanglement is a mobility utility. It lets you reposition quickly, escape danger, or adjust your angle in a fight. It's a lifeline for both you and pinned allies, so keep it in reserve rather than burning it on aggressive dives with no exit plan.

Singularity — the Control Ultimate

Singularity is the heart of Dynamo. The ultimate creates a black hole that pulls in and suspends every enemy within its radius. It's the best area control in his kit: one accurate cast on a grouped enemy team can simply win the fight. Cast it when enemies are clustered together and immediately call out to allies that the targets are open for finishing. Note that the ability has a wind-up, so cover the cast or use Quantum Entanglement to take a safe position first.

Build and Priorities

Early on, buy survivability and damage-resistance items so you can farm the lane safely. In the mid game, invest in spirit items that boost your healing and cut cooldowns — that way your control and heals come up more often. Active items like a debuff remover and metal skin help you survive focus fire and finish your ultimate. Keep your flex slots open for reactive buys against the enemy's specific lineup.

Positioning Tips

Dynamo is strongest on the second line: close enough to heal and to catch enemies in Singularity, but not so far forward that he dies first. Use ziplines and Quantum Entanglement for fast rotations between lanes and to objectives like the mid-boss. Remember: a living Dynamo with his ultimate ready is more useful to the team than a dead hero who heroically dove into the enemy pack. Patience and timing are your main weapons.
