Attack the enemies affected by Light Eater
Light Eater affects enemies in a cone in front of Celeste. Subsequent attacks against affected enemies trigger extra damage of the Spirit type and restore some of her health through Spirit lifesteal. Applying the ability is therefore only the first step. She must continue attacking to benefit from the effect.
Choose an enemy you can continue hitting from a reasonable position. Applying the effect and then chasing through several opponents may cost more than the added damage returns. A nearby target with a clear line for follow-up fire can be more useful than a low-health enemy whose escape route would leave Celeste isolated.
Radiant Daggers rewards prediction rather than instant reaction
Radiant Daggers places a beam that takes a short time to form before dealing area damage. Hitting an enemy hero gives Celeste a stacking increase to her Spirit damage. The delay makes the target's next position important, rather than only the place where the target stands at the moment of casting.
Look for a route the opponent is likely to use or a narrow area with limited exits. A teammate who slows or immobilises the enemy can make its next position easier to predict. Place the damaging area where the enemy is likely to be after the delay, not simply where it was a moment earlier. Check whether the opponent still has a dash or another escape ability before relying on that prediction.
Use Dazzling Trick before the return damage arrives

Dazzling Trick surrounds Celeste with a protective barrier. If that barrier is destroyed, it silences nearby enemies and deals damage based on part of the barrier's value. The effect is tied to the barrier being broken, so it should not be described as an unconditional explosion whenever the duration ends.
Its practical role is to help Celeste survive a dangerous part of the exchange while making close pressure more costly for the opponent. Activating it after the damaging sequence has already finished wastes much of that value. At the same time, a barrier is not permission to remain surrounded: the position still needs a way out when the protection is gone.
Shining Wonder depends on the space between targets
Shining Wonder deals Spirit damage, slows its target and reduces dash distance. It then searches for nearby enemies to bounce to, prioritising heroes. If no target is found, it lingers briefly while continuing to search.
That behaviour makes enemy spacing relevant. A group fighting close together offers different opportunities from opponents retreating in separate directions. Watch the actual cluster rather than firing only because the ultimate is ready. A first hit can be valuable, but the best opportunity may be a moment when several enemies remain close enough for the orb to continue.
Choose ability timing from the situation

First, identify an enemy Celeste can continue attacking. Use Light Eater when she can attack again immediately afterwards. A teammate who slows the enemy can help keep it inside Radiant Daggers until the explosion. Activate the barrier before Celeste receives heavy damage, and look for nearby groups of opponents when considering Shining Wonder .
The order can change from one fight to another. If a teammate has already stopped an enemy from moving, Radiant Daggers may be the first useful choice. If several enemies are attacking Celeste, she may need the barrier immediately. Watch the target and the threats around her instead of pressing all four abilities in the same order every time.
Choose upgrades that help abilities reach their targets
Before buying more damage, identify what is going wrong. Perhaps the enemy leaves the selected area before the explosion. Perhaps it escapes after Light Eater , or Celeste dies before she can attack again. Each problem needs a different response. A damage increase helps only if the attack or ability actually hits the enemy.
Check the current in-game ability descriptions before choosing specific upgrades. Balance changes can alter barrier strength, damage and other values during the playtest. The August changes affected Celeste's barrier and ultimate, so older upgrade recommendations may no longer apply. Practise choosing a target, predicting its movement and using protection in time. Leave a losing fight when possible rather than staying merely to attempt another combination.
