Radiant Regeneration now heals 65 instead of 70, while Restorative Locket loses two points of Spirit Resist. Those item changes sit beside the separate adjustments to Celeste.
Radiant Regeneration now heals 65
The active heal was reduced from 70 to 65. This is a small numerical change, but it applies every time the effect is used. Players who survived a fight with only a few health points may notice the difference. The item still provides recovery; it simply restores five less health under the listed value. The complete item still combines several effects despite the reduction to one value.
Restorative Locket loses two points of Spirit Resist
Opponents gain clearer counterplay from spacing. The one-metre reduction in bounce range looks small on paper, but it can stop a chain when two heroes stand near the previous limit. Wider spacing can stop the effect from bouncing through several nearby allies. Celeste players can answer by waiting for a narrow corridor or using allied control before Shining Wonder is cast.
Dazzling Trick has a longer cooldown
Celeste's Dazzling Trick cooldown increased from 32 to 34 seconds. The extra two seconds create a longer period in which the ability cannot be used again. Teams can track that window after seeing the cast. The longer cooldown leaves Celeste exposed for more time after the ability is used.
The patch changes one hero without rewriting every defensive item in Deadlock . Celeste still relies on positioning, team support and the timing of Shining Wonder. The new values alter the margin available in those decisions and make older cooldown examples less reliable.
The barrier and silence behaviour were revised
The update changes how Dazzling Trick's barrier scales and how its silence is applied. These changes affect both survival and the opponent's ability to respond. Reading only the cooldown would miss the larger adjustment. The live ability description contains the current level and Spirit scaling values, while older guides may show the previous patch.
Shining Wonder has less bounce range
The bounce range was reduced from 17.5 metres to 16.5 metres. Targets that previously sat near the outer edge may now be too far away for the effect to continue.

Celeste can still gain value when enemies stand close together. Opponents can reduce that value by widening their spacing before the ability reaches the first target.
Its damage and Spirit scaling also fell
Shining Wonder's base damage moved from 165 to 140, while Spirit scaling was reduced from 0.9 to 0.6. Both changes lower the result across different build stages. The exact loss depends on Celeste's current Spirit. A high-Spirit build feels the scaling reduction more strongly than a setup with little bonus Spirit, but both builds receive the lower base value.

The patch asks Celeste to choose safer timings
Longer defence downtime, lower barrier value and reduced Shining Wonder output make careless entries more costly. Celeste still has tools to create pressure, but players need better spacing and clearer target selection. Teammates can help by grouping enemies or controlling a target before the bounce attempt. The update rewards planned use rather than repeated casts without checking range.
Old clips need the correct patch label
Videos recorded before 22 August can show the previous cooldown, range and damage. They remain useful for understanding the basic animation, but not for verifying current numbers. Players can compare guides with the live patch date. The update is complete, and Valve has not announced another change in these notes.
Celeste now has less room to absorb spirit damage before committing to a fight. The resistance change affects the punishment she receives, while the Shining Wonder adjustment affects what she can return. Treating those changes separately makes the balance direction easier to understand.
The bounce range matters when opponents spread away from the first target. A shorter chain reduces the number of safe positions from which Celeste can threaten several enemies at once. She can still use the ability for a strong engage, but placement and timing carry more weight after the adjustment.
The two item changes also alter defensive choices around the hero. A player cannot read the hero values alone and assume the same level of protection from the previous build. The practical effect depends on the selected items, the amount of spirit damage in the opposing lineup and the point reached in the match.
All listed values belong to one balance update and should be read as a single set of changes.
